Your new role As an Intermediate Accountant, you will work closely with senior accountants, managers and Partners while managing a varied portfolio of SME clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
- Tax compliance for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships
- BAS and GST preparation
- Assisting with tax planning and broader business advisory work
- Liaising directly with clients and responding to their accounting and taxation requirements
- Developing your technical skills and taking on greater responsibility as you progress
- Strong technical accounting and taxation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and team-focused approach
- CA or CPA studies underway, or a desire to commence
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
